Their are many branches of mathematics but the main branches are given below.

• Algebra 
• Geometry
• Trigonometry
• Arithmetic

Algebra
             Algebra is the main branch of mathematics in which we use alphabets and others general symbols to represent the numbers and other quantities in different equation,formulas and terms .

Explanation
                    The letters/alphabets which are commonly used in algebra is x,y and z and these   alphabets are known as variable which have no constant values and their value is change in different situation.
for example
x+2=4
x=4-2
x=2
here the value of x is 2 but now we change the situation and see whats happens?
x+3=4
x=4-3
x=1
now the value of x is change .
so the variable have no constant value .

Geometry
                 Geometry is the main branch of mathematics in which we study about the properties,relationship and measurements of angles,lines,solids figures,plane figures,curves and points on Earth.

Trigonometry
                        Trigonometry is the main branch of mathematics in which we study about the relationship b/w the sides and  angles of a plan triangle and the solid figures by using the trigonometric identities.
Some Identities are given below.

•       4+2=6
•                           4-1=3
•                                           i+i=2i
•                                                             9/3=3
•                                                                             4*3=12
